CM music is an independent music blog by Creative Director Abel Alazo from CREATIVEMEANING.NU. CM Music’s mission is to provide a space for promoting and showcasing what we consider quality music -a criteria based on the creative approach to its creation and its influence on culture and society. We also work with musicians who create something new and unique or explore new paths stepping up from the past. We are interested in Latin and African roots, though this does not limit us. We want to know about all kinds of exciting and new music!

Why CM Music? Well, because we love music! We love its capacity to activate people. We are in a world where music has become a commodity. For us, music is a force for getting people together in kindness and understanding! I know it sounds hippie, but there is nothing wrong with that! We can see that apathy towards everything that unifies humans haven’t taken us anywhere better. So let’s start again and appreciate what everyone can understand: beautiful sounds, vibes, high energies, and talents. That’s why we are here!
